Rimrock elk hunters
« on: September 28, 2014, 08:54:56 AM »

Hey guys and gals my 12 year old son drew a cow tag for the modern season. I have hunted and scouted this area in the past but due to soccer and football every weekend we haven't made it out there to scout much this year. The tag starts on the Wednesday the 29th and due to his schedule and mine we'll only have a few days to hunt.
Originally I had planned to scout again Saturday thru Tuesday and take him over there Tuesday night. Now we'll both be arriving late Tuesday and headed back for a game Saturday so I'm really feeling the pressure to make the most of our time.
I'm hoping that a few of you RR buffs that were just there for the archery season can point us in good direction. Any direction or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Ive been scouting over there for my bull tag that starts the 20th. Been into elk most areas. This is what I will do, I will shoot you a pm a couple days before your season starts and give you the most current intel available. I will be over there from the 18th to the 27th.
