Time to get the beer batter mixed and the fryer going! Nice mess of perch you got there.

didn't think they existed in those numbers anymore. Beer batter and fryer are a must, as Bullkller has mentioned!

Is that a fryer on the counter to the left?  And a brewski! Looks like this dude is ready.  :EAT: :brew:

Lot's of good memories: as a kid we made a few annual trips there just for the perch/crappie/bluegill.

haven't seen a stringer like that since i was a little kid fishing off the mar don dock.  haven't fished that area for spiny rays in at least 5 or 6 years, but it's been ages since i've ever caught something keeper size.  lots of little 5" punks though.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

Spiny ray fishing at Potholes has gotten a lot better the last couple years.  During March-May you can catch limits or close to limits of walleye, the crappie seem to be back but you have to sift through keepers (caught some 14-15 inches this year though), and perch are everywhere.  Hopefully the ice is good again this year for Lind Coulee, I'll have to try that out.

The lake is loaded with perch, Has been for a couple years now. Caught a hundred or so yesterday morning by 11. kept 30 or so of the jumbo's and re-least some pretty nice walleye to 6lbs in the process.
