that is true, but I hated seeing it was a "buck" anatomically speaking, we didnt even realize it until I went to gut it and there was a odd pair of.. well you know... lol :P

I do think you should bring it to the sportsman show and have it measured.  I think there would be enough people on here to walk with you into the show with your rack in hand...   That would be just too funny, I would laugh my butt off.

I dont have the massive rack anymore lol. i think a mouse ate it.... but if i did I would consider it..... that was the 8th deer that year and my only doe I mean buck lol.... that was a fun year in ohio and oregon

Hehe, I assume that you both thought they were Doe's... b.c from the distant picture you can't even tell.  Either way, meat in the freezer is meat in the freezer.  Congratulations gentlemen.

Last years deer...huckleberry second deer tag and a late whitetail tag in my pocket...guess which tag I had to use...

Buck Tag! IT was good eating.
Wild Turkey, Walleyes, Whitetails and Wapiti..These are a few of my favorite things!!

Don't feel to bad, I shot a button buck this year with the bow, got a good suprise when I went to gut it out. The nubs are about 1/2 long. not even above the hair line.
