Sekiu Salmon Keep Coming!
« on: September 22, 2014, 08:37:33 PM »
Fishing out of sekiu has been awesome! Not a ton of big fish around but the numbers have been great. If any other huntwa members are gonna be up this week stop by and say hi I'll be around through this weekend. Im moored at Olson's. Osprey northwind over by the jetty. Good luck!

I heard reports of some bigger fish being caught, hope they start coming this way soon. We need rain in the river!

Been hearing that it is almost non-stop biting there lately.  Only problem was that most of the fish had all their fins.

I am heading there for one last trip this weekend.  Haven't been there all season, so figure might as well hit it for a final run of the year.   Were going to be at VRs..  We'll look you up and say hi...

Me and my son were there the 19th thru 21st and killed them. He got a couple 14 lb natives and the rest were still ok. On saturday we had a windstorm come up that sent everyone back to the dock in a hurry. My 1979 17' glasply handeled it ok but it was a little dicey on the way in. We also got the last moorage other than bowtying at olsons.

Good luck there were some nice grade fish around yesterday. I decided to pull out and move down to area 9 for the weekend.
