Bought a new mule
« on: September 08, 2007, 07:22:55 AM »
....this last week.   Damn thing better hold still when I throw the pack on.  It doesn't do well in the mountains, but travels long distance well I think and it can haul a bunch.
I picked up a new Iron Eagle 6x10 utility trailer.   I built a set of racks for it yesterday.  I had to dip into my taxidermy fund, but want to be able to haul the kitchen sink to NM with me just in case the wife wants to move out when I'm gone.  I alos need something to haul all of my maps I haven't had time to dicipher.

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

I'm slow  :chuckle: Took a minute. (thinking) Whats up with a mule that doesn't do good in the mountains? And Whats he gonna do with a 6X10 trailer, he's not gonna try and put the mule in it?

Everything is OK now I get it  :IBCOOL:

Idabooners mule has tried to kill me twice now.  Big *censored* anyway.  I'll have to get some pics of that ugly sucker up on here.  The last trip we went into the mountains to get my wifes buck and mine, was more fun than you can imagine.  The mule has it in his head that antlers are a bad thing.  That stems back to the time before that a grizzly was stalking us and was hiding behind my moose antlers while we were trying to load the mule.  Thats yet another adventure that will need to get on here soon.  Anyway....I'm going to stick to backpacking, its easier.   Idabooner probably appreciates the lack of 2 am phone calls he is getting now during hunting season.
