Weyerhaueser permit Key

Put the wife in for muzzle permit this year and in for a cow permit and she drew a willipa hills cow permit for Oct. 4th to the 10th. Then I saw where we had to have a permit from weyerheauser to get into her area so we bought a north Pe Ell permit it can with a packet telling the rules and the access points and a key. Well we went over sat. and all the gates were open and we saw several cows and a couple bulls and thought maybe sunday we could get a shot. Well the gates were closed sunday and our key would;nt fit into the lock that had painted on it permit lock another hunter came by and his key fit but the sun was up by then so nothing out. I called the Pe Ell office and got a recording saying leave a message so I did then the recording said they would get back to me within 5 working days which is the last day of her hunt. Not much to be said but if you have a permit for an area make sure your key fits.

Was thinking it should have been Pe Ell South as well.

I think if you head farther south towards the Columbia River/Ocean Beach Hwy west of Longview there may be some of the area outside of Weyco permit, but not sure of ownership and if there are other permits to get, but worth a little research.  Good luck!
