I would describe it as a tag that allows you to hunt mulitple seasons using weapons pertaining to that season.
I hope you're prepared to hunt the late archery or late muzzleloader season... otherwise you just wasted $140 on your multi season tag. Of course, I've heard of guys who also "wasted" their money by killing a deer on September 1st with a bow.
Does the WDFW actually issue you 3 tags? I bought my usual muzzleloader tag, then bought the multiseason for the first time this year. I don't recall receiving 2 more tags.
Which means you are only able to hunt modern firearm now, as if you never had it.

However, from the original post, it sounds like he had no idea what the multi-season is, so it is unlikely that he purchased the tag before the cutoff. Hence, now he is limited to modern firearm as if he never drew the permit in the first place.
I usually apply for the multi season deer tag just so I will have the option of buying it if I decide to. Since you have to apply in March, it's too early for me to really know if I'm going to want it or not by the time hunting season comes around. And no, I have never purchased it. Sorry if that bothers some of you but to me it's well worth the $6 fee to keep the option open until September 1st.

Its not like elk.
What, hes so unlucky he didn't draw even with 100% success.
OUCH! My mistake..... OK, lets all be mad at Bobcat then.
