Shooter or not
« on: October 08, 2014, 05:13:05 PM »

I let him go this morning!!!  this is a extremely large body goat that I think is just a tad short on length. One good thing is that he is haired up with beautiful chaps .  Give me your thoughts

Still looks short haired to me maybe?

I think he's not big enough, but I'm far from a goat guy.

He does have a big body. his glands are very swollen maybe making his horns appear smaller than they are. If its good to you and your happy. Shoot!

Looks good and I agree with others, depends on area if he's a shooter or backup.

Shooter in my book. He doesn't look very haired up to me though I'd wait a bit and make sure he's the right one while you're at it

Very respectable, I'd shoot him.  Weather is going to start to play a factor.  He looks good!

Last couple days of season it is a shooter but with 20 more days, depending on area and how much time you can hunt, I would pass.  Hard call though, he is a nice goat and would make a great trophy regardless.
