Rimrock Cow Tag
« on: October 10, 2014, 06:58:51 AM »
I drew a cow tag for GMU364 this year. I spent a couple of weeks up there camping, scouting and driving some jeep trails. There appear to be plenty of Elk in that unit. Hopefully this is the year that I connect with my first Elk. Anybody have any suggestion? I think I have a good idea what areas I want to hunt, but any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

I will be heading up that way the next two weekends to scout around during deer season.

Im heading over in a couple days for my bull tag. I will pass on any recent intel. Snow level is dropping, calling for 4-6" in the wilderness so some high country elk should start moving down.
