wenatchee area swamp seats (borrow)
« on: October 10, 2014, 02:19:11 PM »
Does anyone have any swamp seat (s) that I could borrow for a hunt tomorrow. I actually have two brand new ones waiting for me in Thorp at my aunt and uncle's house but last minute plans to head to Tri Cities that call for swamp chairs popped up and I would rather not drive the extra hour and a half to grab mine if someone local has one or two I could borrow.

What's a swamp seat?

swamp seat, marsh seat. Basically a seat for duck hunting that sticks in the mud instead of standing all day in knee deep water.

I know it's not your ideal choice but would a 5 gallon bucket with a lid work?  I have a friend that uses a black one.  It packs gear and is his seat all in one...

It's knee deep or a little deeper water. That's why the chair is desired
