Peaches Ridge Bull
« on: October 23, 2014, 11:37:53 AM »
Well, it took a long 15 years to finally draw this tag. But with a lot of scouting and research, I knew where to concentrate my efforts.
So I took this bull the evening of the first day hunting. That didn't mean it came out that night, but with the help of my pack mule (ffhoofer), we got the job done!
The first picture is how we found him when we walked up on him and the rest are the next day when we were prepping him to pack out. I want to thank ffhoofer for the hard work and everyone should call him when needing a animal packed out! :chuckle: Also Bearpaw gave me one important tip, to make sure my help was younger then me!

BearPaw is a smart man.   Younger and better shape than you are keys to getting help to pack out an elk.  Nice elk and congratulations on a nice bull after a 15 year wait for that tag.
