That's a nice buck I saw you pulling out of Mardon. I also filled my desert tag first day .took me 14 years to draw well worth the wait. I saw at least 150 deer the first morning lots of bucks but I was holding out for the big one. It was a 2000yard stock almost dark but I got it done.

both nice bucks     seen rileyb buck first hand in the parking lot at mardons   That is a nice buck  rileyb post a front picture of your buck   I would guess with the mass your buck has it would score around 180/190    Two of the best in the desert unit so far

Nice buck!! I am guessing you meant 200 yard not 2000 yard.

Here is a front picture of my deer and I did mean 2000yards. my buddy  watched him through a spotting scope until he laid down. His head was nodding up and down falling a sleep.Took me and another buddy an 1 1/2 hours of crawling and hiking through 6' tall sage brush then waited an hour for him to stand up. He took 3 steps out from behind a piece of sagebrush . He was 242 yards away hit him with 1 shot from my 6.5 284 Norma 142 grain Berger bullet he dropped

Congratulations on the desert bucks! I have seen a bunch of bucks still in velvet this year over here. Not sure what the deal is.

Thanks and congratulations!
