Garmin oregon 450t map help!
« on: November 03, 2014, 08:06:36 PM »
I bought the updated hunting GPS map for washington, unlocked the make installed it to garmin base camp. Now base camp doesn't recognize my GPS so I can't update my GPS.  Any ideas, or suggestions. It was the download,  not the SD card.

I, too, had some trouble a few weeks ago updating the Hunting WA map in my 450t (I'm a tech Neanderthal) and, before I got myself too frustrated, I called Garmin tech help. Smartest move I ever made. Let them know whether you're a PC or Apple type, ask for someone in that field, and they'll walk you through the problem. Good people.
