mass early really helps lets see him at 7.5 years and see if he gets into that 14.5 range . I hope he keeps those tips even if it hurts the score .

How would keeping his tips hurt his score? Isn't more bone better than less??  :dunno:

mass scores drop since you measure from the tip first 1/4 then 1/2 then 3/4 then bases.
