Holy crap thats cold, I got my first taste of cold like that a few weeks ago when I went to north Dakota but it wasn't negative 42 thats for sure :chuckle: how the well do you keep your machines running in those temps??

You never turn it off lol. Second you run different plugs in the Tundras and the new machines don't even notice. But we still hardly ever turn anything off.

Well I pulled my sets on about 1/2 my line and put in a few new sets in other areas. This time of yr up here it always seems like I'm reaching into new areas looking for a magic trick.

Loved this set, it's along a frozen stream. Fox are running up and down it. I put a #2 Bridger in the snow just in front of the tacks. You can see the tuft of grass I sprayed pee on also. The two small logs behind are cabled to the trap as a drag.

Got board after the game yesterday and made a few compilations of kill pics over the last couple years lol. Didn't get all the pics in but it's kind of crazy how many critters I've taken up here. Better yet how many I've saved ;)

30-40 sustained winds with gusts to 80+ in the Matsu valley. Going on 4 days now non stop. No breaks at night even  :bash: checked a few more sets today and they were pretty much blown out of order. Reset what I could.

Snow has been very minimal. I'm going to be pulling my line in the next week or two. It's mostly been just getting out enjoying the woods lately. Found this pic for you guys that wonder if that coyote you saw in the woods was a wolf lol.

We spent a couple days in Wasilla a couple weeks ago and that trailer was the first thing we saw the day we arrived.  :yike:  We also saw where a section of roof got torn off of the Grandview hotel.  Crazy wind!  We've decided that we're not going to live IN the valley, but just outside, if we choose that area.  :)
