It's been a while since I've been as cold as I was today, 9 degrees at 6,ooo ft not including the wind chill.  The wind never stopped.  I started out at crystal and just didn't bring the right clothes, hunted till about 930 and had to get my toes some heat.  Got warm went to another place up high about 25 minutes away and froze again.  Should have been road hunting today!! Anyone else brave the temps in the high country?  Worst part was, I didn't see a single animal?? Tracks and rubs but no live critters.  I'll be packing some clothes and snow boots tomorrow!!

Don't feel too bad.  Ground and leaves are frozen down here even at 39 degrees by mid-afternoon.  Nothing moved here either.

Good luck tomorrow.  Get 'er done!
