late palouse buck
« on: November 16, 2014, 05:43:47 PM »
Tagged out on my late palouse buck tag this morning. Took this buck at 275 yards after hunting hard all late season so far. Well...technically i took one day off  :chuckle: the chasing started like crazy yesterday in my area. Saw 6 bucks yesterday and today after seeing only 2 all week. Not great pics because i was in a hurry after getting a call from my fiance that a pipe had broken in our house. So now we get to rebuild a batroom also!

Was that buck really standing out the middle of an open hillside like that?

Really cool first picture, by the way.

thanks! The timing was great as the sun was just about to rise!
it was actually chasing and following does across this cow pasture going from feeding area to bedding area. The deer always seem to cross here. I have killed numerous bucks within 100 yards of this spot.
