Taxidermist in Whatcom County

Any suggestions on a Taxidermist in up here in Whatcom County? Last shoulder mount I had done was back in 92.

Same guy that most likely did your last one has moved back,Wildlife Art Taxidermy, used to be just south of Lynden, now he's west of Lynden on the Delta Line Road.I won't take anything to him again,he gave me the hose job on some excellent, killed with a single BB,Huns and Quail.I'd suggest putting some miles on the truck and going with a board member Cedar River Taxidermy, his pictures  of his work are amazing.Bruce at Wildlife does great work, but he ticked this redneck off by not doing the work he'd taken on and had a deposit for.My uncle uses Garth at Fidalgo in Anacortes.Taxi's are like dog trainers, sometimes to get a great one you'll need to do alittle traveling.

I've heard there used to be a different guy west of Lynden on Stein or Custer School road I think that ripped a lot of people off.

Bruce of Wildlife Art Taxidermy is a great guy/businessman/artist/taxidermist. I and friends have used him for years. He's a tad cheaper than Garth at Fidalgo. Both are quality NW Taxi/artists you can trust. Neither one of them do their own tanning. They send it out. That's a chance we all take.  Over The Hill Taxidermy in Clearlake does his own tanning and has a faster turnaround. I've used him too. He's cheaper and the quality is nice from frontal views, but I'd like a bit more attention to detail on the back side.

This years buck went to Bruce.  I'll never hesitate to use or recommend his services.
