First Snow Goose
« on: November 29, 2014, 09:23:23 AM »
Had a good hunt in the cold rain yesterday. After the ducks slowed a little a small flock of snows arrived over the dekes. One bird wanted to land and the others were willing too. The one circled low about three times while I called heavily. I should have let the rest come in too but I rushed it and took that first one.

Those juvies can come in one a string at times.  Fun to hunt.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
