Some of you guys are stuck on the size thing :chuckle:  I love fishing the backcountry high mountain lakes after Ice off for the beautiful little Montana Black spot cutthroats, and rainbows.  Flicking flys or tossing spoons it don't get much better than a weekend with your buddys in the backcountry catching high mountain trout!

its not just size for me but fight.. those high cascade lakes are fun, I usually go to soda peaks lake in august to camp and fish for native brookies in a float tube! its fun.. flyfishing down here is not the same to me, never been into it much myself but the years I was in alaska on the rivers for trout up there was unreal.... 3 lb rainbows on everycast and they were small....

Any Fish with a hook in his mouth.  Salmon are right up there for me for what I have caught.  Never caught a lot of the exotics so I don't know.

I am a sucker for tossin a BW-29 from the bank and having a cowlitz coho or a NFL coho slam it. We have absolutely killed the coho the last 3-4 years since we started tossin plugs from the bank.

I also love lower columbia river summer steelhead. My 9 year old will agree with the summer steelhead, that may be why i love fishing them so much, because he does.

I have caught so many oversize sturgeon in my life that i have quit fishing them. I will never put a big hog to the stress of the fight again. After a long fight it has been proven that the big hens will not breed that year, they will reabsorb there eggs. Never again. If you do it fine i will not put anybody down for it but the resource needs to be preserved for future generations.
I love fishing for sturgeon, and the new measuring method will be interesting.
