Shot the Reezen 6.5
« on: December 21, 2008, 01:05:15 PM »
I shot the 6.5 Reezen a few days ago.  Chrono's 290fps, 435gr arrow, 29", 70#.  It had a pretty harsh draw, and when the cam finally rolled over it was super abrupt.  It got better, but still had a jerk as it hit the back.  No matter what I tried it would jerk the riser as it cammed over and stopped.  It also had a weird vibration for a second or two that was coming through the entire bow.  Felt like a after shot "resonance" that was in the bow itself.  No there was no loose equipment, and the shop said the bow has done it all along.  It was quiet.  I'm sticking with my LX for sure against this bow.  Minimal gain in FPS if any at all over the LX, and a draw that was 4 times as harsh.  A speed bow is a speed bow and there is no way to get away from that harsh draw.
