Single father needs some assistance.
« on: December 19, 2014, 08:19:17 AM »
As some of you are aware my brother has a charity set up to help families with kids that are undergoing treatments for some of the most challenging of diseases and he decided that he wanted to find a military family to help this holiday season so on one of their visits to the H.O.T. unit they met a young boy named Alex who is undergoing cancer treatment and Alex's brother who I think is around 18-19 years old moved back home to assist in the daily care of Alex while their father goes to work each day and now Alex's brother is shipping off to bootcamp in just a few short months and their father will need to make other arrangements to pay for the care Alex needs on a daily basis. My brother meet them at their home on one occasion and found the home to be very bare, there was a loveseat that Alex lays on and a TV with a Wii console and an end table that holds all of Alex's medications and some legos but basically not much else and Pete thought they could use some things to furnish the home like a recliner or couch or some gift cards for stores like Walmart to buy food and home staples (bread, milk, butter, tinfoil, masking tape, etc...) since every cent Dad earns goes to Alex's care. Other things they are looking for are supplies the older brother will need to survive bootcamp or at least stuff he will need after he survives bootcamp as he pursues his career in the service.

If you are able to hook this family up with any sort of assistance please get in touch with them at frog4life.com

Thank You very much and have a wonderful Holiday season with your family !!

Meet Alex !!
