I hunted eburg saturday sunday monday.I ended up with 4 mixed ducks a rooster and a yote with the shotty on saturday. Sunday a buddy and myelf wacked 7 geese with 6 shots on a ditch jump, 2 mallards and a few quail. Today I shot a limit of ducks and if open, could have done the same for geese.. There are a lot of birds in the area, ya just gotta find open water. sorry no pics

Where did you get the action at?  New to hunting and have not found good spots around Ellensburg.

Gotta know people with open water on there land.. I would personally ask people that you can see have birds on there land. Almost anywhere with water there's gonna be birds, and from every open area ive seen plenty of them. When we pulled those 7 geese there were probably 400 geese and another 500 mixed ducks... I was confused where to start shooting

Thanks for the advice. Had a hard time finding open water and even harder finding houses that possibly owned the open water.  Got a pup im training right now and just looking to get her some experience.  Tough with the weather.  Let me know if you are ever back in the area and want a partner.

Maybe a dumb question but what is a "shotty?"   :dunno:
