They can be very curious critters so it may work. I have never used coon calls on coyotes, if it peaks there interest then it might work.

I've used it, but haven't had very good results. It sounds best when run wide open (which is extremely loud for a hand call) so you might consider using it only on the windy days or when your trying to reach out a good distance. It's a little too aggressive for my taste, but I still give it a try every now and then when conditions allow.

Your mileage may vary. Good luck out there.

I have used crow calls from time to time. Kinda to add to a coaxer, never felt like I gained anything.

I don't call 1/10 of what I use to when I was younger. One sound that I have found very deadly was vole squeaks. Any time I got anything to hang up. It is 1 of the 2 sounds I use to get a reaction. Depending on the time of year. If they are breeding or have pups. Pup distress is the other.

It's a small rodent. The sounds are very raspy squeaks. It's a FoxPro sound.

I've got a flextone coon squaller. It is loud but with practice you can get some great distress sounds from it. Rabbit, fawn, ECT.  Fwiw I really prefer an open reed call my self. Way more sound options from a single call.
