Josh
Have you fished for them? I grew up catching them on strawberry pop and wheaties, sometimes with worms, but have never fly fished for them. That has to be a hoot. I'm definately going to give it a go this year.

I've tried. Never successfully but all the homework I did says they'll eat those flies. I tried it in shallow water and line spooked them a bunch. Supposed to be really great carp flyfishing on banks lake wading and sight fishing shallow water. Tough to not spook them though, I can vouch for that.

No problem. He has alot of knowledge on it. He has done it for quite awhile. I think he also has a website that you can go look at what carp flies that he uses. desertflyangler.com

I went to the FT3 flyfishing show last night here in Spokaloo and they had a clip on carp fishing. The Columbia was one of the fisheries shown. Pac NW bone fishing spot and stalk sight fishing at its best  looks like. Interesting for sure
