Have you fished for them? I grew up catching them on strawberry pop and wheaties, sometimes with worms, but have never fly fished for them. That has to be a hoot. I'm definately going to give it a go this year.

I've tried. Never successfully but all the homework I did says they'll eat those flies. I tried it in shallow water and line spooked them a bunch. Supposed to be really great carp flyfishing on banks lake wading and sight fishing shallow water. Tough to not spook them though, I can vouch for that.

Quad,  Give Desert Fly Angler In Ephrata a call.  He does alot of flyfishing for carp. He also has good carp flies too.  Hope this helps.

No problem. He has alot of knowledge on it. He has done it for quite awhile. I think he also has a website that you can go look at what carp flies that he uses. desertflyangler.com

I went to the FT3 flyfishing show last night here in Spokaloo and they had a clip on carp fishing. The Columbia was one of the fisheries shown. Pac NW bone fishing spot and stalk sight fishing at its best  looks like. Interesting for sure
