I see it being a great year for mz but for the true muzzleloaders it will be crowded and in a couple years when the bull count is down. You'll be hunting spikes and cows even on the west side. You can thank those who pushes for it then. I'm a archery hunter although the season might be betteri l had know problem with it the way it was. Hunt harder

Oh my....
Washington had conditioned us with lies.   Increased opportunity is not a bad thing.  Really it's not.  I grew up hunting Idaho.  The more areas with opportunity the more you spread people out enhancing everyone's experience.  I don't expect harvest numbers to jump significantly, but I do expect our enjoyment to improve.

Can you hunt with archery gear on a muzzle tag/season?

Not if it's a permit hunt, if it's a muzzy permit, you have to use muzzy.  My cousin had a muzzy permit last year and he is an archer, we ask if we could use his bow instead and bigtex verified he could NOT use his bow.  I'm only talking about permit hunts.

Just another fine example of a pointless law.  Let's punish the permit holder by giving less weapon choices than a general muzzy guy...

Lordy I hope I draw multi season elk this year! What an incredible combo of seasons early archery and early front stuffer would be.

It won't be official until adopted by the Fish & Wildlife Commission at the meeting on March 20-21.

Cant wait for this to become official,if it does...should be fun and thin out the rifle hunters so its not so crowded for them
If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.
