Checked my rat areas today. Burrows are still plugged but snow is about gone.  Won't beuch longer but I like to wait till the young ones are out and about. Don't want my honey holes running low

Very true,preservation for next year.Looking into some new spots in the lower Yakima valley.

I doubt you have to worry too much about them getting hard to find!

not true. I wiped them out here on our farm. Took 86 first weekend. Few each fallowing weekend and with in a month it was down to one or two a month. That was 4years ago. Once in a great while one moves in but they don't get to stick around
