double t?

When would you say you are done training on the double t? We are at the point now where he drives hard to the back pile and ibcan hit a sit whistle and he will take my cast reliably. I think we are nearing the end but am not 100% sure.

On drill work, you don't look for 100%. You look for a consistant 90%. If you are getting that, then time to move on.

I don't put much stock in the double T. Some do, some don't.

Spent most of my $$ on huntin, fishin & retrievin dogs, the rest I just pretty much wasted.

I'm not saying I don't "do" the double T, I just don't look for any level of perfection with it. Seen too many people sit and become frustrated doing it because the dog isn't perfect then start getting on with the collar and begin the slow breakdown of what was once a nice puppy. Could have quit after a few days of super successful single T and just get on with running some "show me" blinds and work towards getting a cold blind done.
