Franchi intensity 3.5"
« on: February 16, 2015, 01:45:44 PM »
Lots of hype out there about this gun does anybody own one that can tell me about their experience with this gun? I am looking at buying one this off season, finally got the o.k from the wife to buy a new shotgun :IBCOOL:   I have read some reviews online and looked up some private reviews on YouTube and everything seems positive so far, along with making a trip to the gun store to pull it up.

I do not own any waterfowl Franchi's, but I am a serious fan of their upland guns!  For my build and as hard as we use those guns there has been absolutely nothing better.  I've had Benelli and a buck load of pumps, Beretta semi, Browning semi, Winchester Semi, Remington Semi and Weatherby.  Franchi is the only non-double I have kept.  Don't think you can go wrong!
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

They have a good price point.  I purchased my son one and it seems to work well for him.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I have a buddy willing to sell me his Vinci for 1500 one year used and some of that was me using it to try it out, it was a great gun, absolutely loved it. I have a hard time spending 1500 though when I can get a new franchi for 900 that, could shoot just like the Vinci...... Idk

I bought the Intensity waterfowl model just before last Christmas.  Hunted half the duck season with it and just finished the spring goose season.  Exceptional gun!  Super light with very little recoil.  I own several shotguns and this one is by far my favorite for waterfowl.  The only thing i didnt care for was the factory chokes.  I bought some Carlson's tubes for the gun.  Excellent price, super performance, easy to clean.  Thumbs up.

$1500 for a used Vinci seemed steep to me. I looked on gunbroker.com and found more than 20 new ones for less than that. I've never heard anything bad about franchi from my friends that use them. It's basically a benelli at a discount price.
