There have been some posts regarding full mounts on cubs. I believe one was kind of curled up and fit on the shelf, the other was laying on the floor and made for a good conversation starter as people came in. I believe both were mounts made from somewhat of a mercy killing where hunters found a dead sow with a living cub.

If anyone gets one down near sultan, and needs a hand, pm me, and I'll help if I can. I also know of a spot that may be good during the early weeks. Good luck!

Went for a scouting run.  No peels or sign yet that I could see.  Checked my cams... a lot of coyotes that need thinning.

. Grass for sure!   I hunted a lot of areas with cabbage last year and never found any that had been fed on.
Everything I saw was grass until they started peeling trees about mid May.
