Can you cerakote over existing cerakote ? Have a 1911 I had the slide done in FDE  , thinking of changing it up since you posted up the terminal grey

We would remove the old coating as part of the preparation process.

The Terminal Grey is super popular Biggerhammer hit a homerun with that one.

May be a dumb question here but. . . Does cerakoting a barrel change the harmonics of it? e.g. if I develop a load without the coating, then have it coated, am I risking my load changing on me?
