Oh Man,
All this sturgeon talk is making me crazy. If anyone heading on this adventure is coming from Spokane, I have a Freezer full of vacuum packed shad if you want a half dozen.
Good fishing,
Mike

??   :(

Great friends, horrible fishing. I have no idea what I could have done different but I could not and did not produce a sturgeon in two full days. 7 different baits, two stretches of the Columbia, 8 different holes that have produced sturgeon in the past and zero action. It was very mind blowing and humbling for me.

At least we got to sit in the boat and tell lies for 2 days  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

That fishing. ...... if I had no bad luck, I would have no luck at all  :bash:

We will get them next time  and I will have to bring the wife so the two women can hang out while we fish.

Sounds like my experience down there.  I haven't fished them much, but it seemed pretty hit em or miss em.  Blame it on climate change, or the sea lions... or the guide.   :chuckle:
