you don't have to only hunt disabled areas to have a companion hunter , they just need to be in close proximity , the law is pretty loose and most wardens wont touch it . all road travel laws apply and only the disabled hunter can shoot from the vehicle as per law. the companion hunter must have a license and hunt in compliance with the tag .

Here's another for you. If I got drawn for a quality bull unit, any unit, could my companion kill a quality bull too ? Like I've said, I've never used my disability for hunting.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

I have nothing against a companion hunter that shoots an animal for an individual....but if you just want someone to go out and shoot a non-"crappy" bull so you can have one that is bigger than the one on your wall...is it worth it? To me no. I would rather shoot a cow or spike myself..as opposed to someone else shooting a big bull for me...and me putting it on my wall.

I didn't ask about a " companion " shooting my bull. I don't need no stinking help shooting a " crappy " bull, or any other animal for me. I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself. And, a crappy bull is a crappy bull. People complain all the time that, It's not quite what I'm looking for. So I think you can drop the sarcasm...

You could put in as a group with another person (your companion).  If lucky, both would draw the same permit and you could hunt together, both get to shoot.

Actually according to Big Tex and an rcw he posted in a different thread a while back, a companion hunter can only dispatch an animal which has already been WOUNDED by the disabled hunter.  A companion hunter cannot shoot an animal for the disabled hunter.
It is foolish and wrong to mourn these men.  Rather, we should thank god that such men lived.  -General George S. Patton

Yes I remember that, and I don't agree with it.

I don't agree either, myself and others have helped my dad for years! And we will continue to.
