Time for new strings

I have a Hoyt CE, strings are 2 years old and looking ready to change.
Last time I had the Knockpoint put new ones on  (Hoyt strings), and I'm wondering if I should spec different strings, have someone else do it?

Reason I ask, is with the original set of strings I had no problem with broadhead/field point flight, this last set of strings never seemed to get right.

Thoughts, or suggestions?

I just had new strings put on my bow. I used Twisted Archery. I ordered a set and got them on sale for $65. I did a combo 8125 for the string and 452X for the cables. not a bad set up, zero knock rotation and feels and shoots like a new bow..

Rock Creek Archery in Enumclaw.  Worth the drive for custom strings and tune.

I really like americas best. They are more expensive than other custom makers but are very consistent and have a rock solid warranty.

I would stick to a name brand rather than a string company you have never heard of.  I shoot Winners Choice and have had zero problems with them.  Vapor Trail is another good string maker.  Im sure there are other big name string makers but Im most familiar with those.

Winners choice ownership has changed and I don't believe they are what they use to be.  If you want to stay name brand I think first string is very good.

i used to swear by winners choice but the last 2 sets i got were junk...

Mass produced strings (winners choice, vapor trail) will never be the quality of a real custom set.  60X makes a better string than those two for less money. Thier end loops, serving, length specs, and build quality is a work of art. $75 a set.

I'm hearing i'll get better performance going to a custom string.
I don't have a press, so assume most shops will install provided strings, or get what's specified?   
Rock creek good with Hoyt's?

Not sure you are going to get more performance out of premium/custom strings.  But you should get much more reliable peep placement and they should stay in tune better.

Rock Creek should be everything you are hoping for with your Hoyt and strings.

another vote for 60x custom strings  My buddies and I all use Brad's strings with great results.

I went with Proline based off recommendations from some folks on Archerytalk.  they were having a sale and I think the full set for my Knight was $60-65 shipped and had them in a week.

I have not installed them yet though so I cannot speak to how they run/holdup.  Just wanted to offer another option.

They will let you choose your own colors for strings and serving too and have online designer to give you idea of colors.

Another vote for Rock Creek...Denton does a great job and will work to make sure you keep your tune

I've shot both pro-line and 60x...both are quality sets but they aren't going to get you anything that you can't get locally
