« on: May 02, 2015, 12:05:25 PM »
Last years archery hunt  (The Promise Bull)   I decided a couple years ago to document my hunts so when I am old that I can look back and remember. there are the little details of a hunt that are forgotten that I want to remember. I hope you all enjoy this, It is my first attempt at writing

Well done.  What a joy to be able to hunt with your life partner.

"All the time!"

Thanks for the story.
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom He has chosen as His heritage! ... The king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength. The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue.  Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him."  -Psalm 33:12-22

I hope you all enjoy this, It is my first attempt at writing

A lot of outdoor writers being published today that do not write as well.  Nicely done

You must not have gotten the Hunt-Washington memo;  Elk don't bugle or respond during archery elk seasons prior to the 16th.  You were just wasting your time.  Guess it's a good thing the Lord doesn't get H-W memos either ;)
He asked, Do you ever give a short simple answer?  I replied, "Nope."

Glad you all like the story, I had to fight back tears writing it and re-living it all over again.
