Nice work! Springer season was bittersweet for me. We caught fish but given the excellent water conditions I was looking for lights out fishing, never really happened.

Nice fish Mike!

I enjoyed springer season this year.  It could always be better but we put seven in the boat.

Did anyone hear how last weekend went?  Just got a text that it is open next Saturday.

Talked to several folks I know and lower river was a struggle for bites- both troll and anchor...  John Day was slow, but we managed two each day.  The Cowlitz is pumping fish out in excellent numbers and has been for the past several weeks, I can't run it with my prop.  This weekend, I think the wife would complain a bit if I took to the water for Mom's day...  Yikes!!!

The ocean has been slow so far for the commercials most are fishing between la push and the praire. Ling cod and bass has been good and halibut good but ocean sounds iffy sunday I am going out on the slammer tomorrow to try for some bass and ling cod. Have quite a bit of smelt Mike.
