Funny how he states this "mass killing" dosent even hurt the population!  Coyote is the most re-newable resource in the world!

I don't even argue with anti's anymore. They are just to stubborn and ignorant to waste time on.
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is who you actually are while your reputation is merely who others think you are.

The comments at the end of article are funny, one said coyote hunting is not lucrative at $65 pelt. Well $65 a pelt times 440,000= 28,600,000.  :chuckle:

coyotes are a great source of sport, clothing and money and should be hunted. They can also be a great pest because they kill my cats and chickens. Killing them is no big deal. You kill one two more take its place.

Wow! Every time I read comments on a liberal article, I come away amazed at the ignorance and stupidity of modern America. I know there is still a balance of common sense somewhat, but it is steadily tipping to the left.

I love stupid antis. It's like a target-rich environment. It's almost more fun than pinwheeling a coyote with a .30-06 round. Almost.

Funny that he doesn't mention what wolves tend to do to coyotes...

This is almost as entertaining as the animal rights types who want to end predation by providing predator populations worldwide with "non-meat alternatives" and eventually by "re-engineering predators".  (Look up David Pearce and the like)

Funny but inaccurate.  There might be very small areas that could average over $50 but most places coyotes are almost worthless.  Particularly after the prep-time and gas money are factored.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Yeah no doubt! I still wish I had shot the one I saw running in my backyard in the middle of the night with a chicken in its mouth. Spotted him on the night scope, was nearly ready to shoot, and then he disappeared behind the trees.  :bash:
The possum that got into the chicken coop after that was not so lucky.  :chuckle: I discovered it had babies as well.  :sry: ... NOT

"At least 400,000 coyotes are killed each year in the United States".

yet they still thrive...

And they wonder why we kill these helpless human like critters???

People just don't get it.

 :yeah:
My neighbor loses at least 1/2 dozen caves to coyotes each year.  I shoot an average of somewhere between 20-30 coyotes every year on our places and still cannot make a dent in the population.  I have shot as many as 18 coyotes in a 2 week period off of a cow carcass and it is as if I hadn't killed a single one.

I'd love to bring my new coyote gun over and shoot with you sometime, PB.
