All the snow geese I have shot have either pinkish or gray legs depending on their age. :dunno:

I think it is more likely a spec but I don't think that because of leg color. Juvenile snows are often gray in color and I thought perhaps it might have been a blue snow goose but probably not since a spec seems more likely.

Yeah. Was on the goose call at a passing flock, and they were locked in to a field further on up the way, following them was a flock of ducks. Got on the duck call, and two of these flew in. I downed one with one shot (shell got stuck while ejecting) and the other got away. It looked like a goose coming in, but responded to the duck call.
Shoot a goose, save a plane!

Pretty sure that's a rare protected "Tree Duck"  that probably got lost and flew off coarse during the snow storms.
