getting lots of moose and I am not a fan! :bash: they run the deer off. The last cam I checked saturday had a 5 day period with 0 deer and all of a moose and a calf camped on the salt for a week!

They do tend to take over a mineral site.  I have one spot that gets moose bedding down right on the salt pile mulyiple times per week.  Get pics of deer just walking around the perimiter waiting for the moose to go away.  Being the biggest animal on the mountain has its advantages i guess

Yeah I get the same thing with the moose. My dad last year had pics of a big whitetail chasing a moose off his! Head down going right at the moose .. Moose left  :chuckle:

Dang that sucks man and I thought I had bum luck when one of my cams ran out of batteries after a week in a highly productive spot.

The future at the same spot where I have the 2 big bucks..the one is a 3 yr old 6x5 and has alot of potential in the next few years could be a giant typ the other is young non typ and could be awesome in a few years

some others that will not get hunted...was suppose to be a elk spot







this one might make me atleast run the cam next year here and see what he does..has starts of 2 drop tines and looks like he might finish as a 5x5..could be a pig next year. The hike sucks tho! :chuckle:
