I caught 4 nice Rainbow Yessterday
« on: June 01, 2015, 07:23:45 AM »
Got up at O-Dark-Thirty and had a line in at sun-up on Round Lake in Camas. Using chartreuse Power Bait. No one else I talked with had caught anything. I'd been skunked two previous trips. The "one that got away" was a really big fish - I can't spread my arms wide enough.  :chuckle: He fought for a couple of turns and broke the leader. Next time! I'm sure he's been in there for a few years. The four I landed were all about 12-14"

I put some olive oil, red potatoes, green onions, and garlic in a dutch oven at 425 for about 15 minutes, then added the trout covered with Tarragon, thyme, and shallots, turning it after 10 minutes. We ate it with a nice c*censored*nay. Dinner was outstanding.

I'm jealous! Those are some tasty looking fish. I have to get out soon.
Good catch!

Been meaning to get the boat out to Lacamas before it gets too hot...not sure I'll make it  :(

We did make it up to Lake Leland over Memorial Day Weekend, though.
