How to qualify as a hunter with disabilities
« on: June 09, 2015, 08:27:37 AM »
Anyone have any good advice how to qualify? It seems so easy to get a good tag and there are not disadvantages of having this qualification. You can hunt with a crossbow, from a car, get nooksack permits easy sign me up.

This is strange.

How to qualify?

Do you have a disability that restricts your hunting?

The way I read your question is not that you have a disability and need to learn about the application process but that you want to find out how to come up with a reason in order to get "a good tag" and that there are "not disadvantages of having this qualification." I think if you ask members that have disabilities and look forward to applying for these tags they may have a different opinion about not being a disadvantage.

Am I reading to much into this?

You have posts regarding hunting with a muzzy as well as sticking a pretty nice bull with archery.

Thanks for the compliment on my bull last yr. you are correct I am looking for info on how reasons to qualify. Does Cronic back pain count. I see Adhd dosnt but that might have to be a route I look into. The way I see it is I'm not young and I'm not old so how can I apply for more opportunities to hunt. Dont hate the player hate the game.

you should qualify and be able to hunt from vehicle if you are WC bound. This should be discussed with the POC provided above...

I think he is seeing if he can jump into a new category to draw a tag he wants.  :puke:

If I'm wrong I apologize but thats what Im getting from the 2 topics you started.

Don't hate the player...hate the game.

I'm calling it as I see it.......

You are a piece of work if you are wishing to take away hunting options from those with disabilities.

You have enough oppurtunity apparently. Whats next....you wanna fish in a kids derby because you are against age discrimination.
