We hit south of the hood canal bridge this morning. had pots in water from 6 to 11:30 and only ended up with 3 rock and 1 legal size dungee
Not how I hoped to start the crab season off
No one we talked to was doing well, even after 4 pots soaking over night, the first pot had 3 keepers in it for the guy but the others gave them nothing after an all night soak

Also had a buddy down around Potlatch, they launched at about 10 and pulled out at 3:30 with only one legal dungee.

I did not do any better at Dewatto. A 4 hour soak, and only one keeper Dungeness.

I'm not so excited anymore about MA 11 after seeing all the pots going in 2 months ago. I mean a lot of pots. How can that be fair.

We ended up with 2 limits yesterday, 6 pots but it took a couple soaks to get 'em. Left them out over night so we're gonna go pull 'em later on this morning and that'll probably be it for MA12 til MA9 opens in a couple weeks. Really fell off big time after the opener. With all the pots out there it has to take a toll on the crabs.
