Mar Don resort
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

They really don't start migrating until November so it will be a tough hunt. Pray for early snow. Bring your chains the roads get nasty when the snow flys. Good luck and have fun. I hear the best guide for that unit is call Mossback Outfittes.

Unlike any other mule deer hunt you will ever do.  Prepare for sand dunes, tough walking and spending a lot of time to turn up a monster.  Now how about a story about that sheep in profile?

So that's where our tags went!  :chuckle:

You should have a great hunt. I know a little about the unit. Far less than others here, but would be willing to share what I have learned pending other responses.
