Thank you, should be a lot of fun. Neither one of them has ever drawn a tag so they are besides themselves.

They are 16 & 18. They had 6 & 7 points, so we all decided to put in together, I guess I'm the lucky one to piggyback on their points...

Does anyone know how the deer did in there this past winter with all the fires last year?

There was no winter to speak of.  Fitkin and the other WDFW geniuses gave out 1200 doe tags in the burn so they wouldn't starve on the winter range.  I'll call you later.

I was up there helping on a quality hunt last year and deer were in all the normal areas even with the burn.

Thanks everyone, it should be a lot of fun. G-Pa is also coming to be camp cook and drive us around, so that will be some good memories in the making.

Oh, and we'll do our best to keep everyone posted and up to date with things during the hunt.

A lot of critters burned up, and of course there was the stupid doe slaughter, but you should still have fun.
