My wife drew a clockum cow tag!!!! YeeeHaaa!!!!
« on: June 15, 2015, 05:45:10 PM »
My wife drew a Clockum Cow tag this year.....she has never hunted elk before and I hope she gets to hammer a nice cow.  To be totally honest, I am not overly excited about being up there during rifle season, but we we will battle the hoards of people in search of a tasty cow.

I am doing my darndest to have her become a member so she can tell the story.  At this point, I will have to post for her.  I hope to add pics of two beautiful ladies following the hunt (her and the elk).   :chuckle: :chuckle:

My wife is going to be the freezer filler this year.  She drew the cow elk, antlerless deer and second deer.  I get to horn hunt this year as meat shouldn't be a problem.

Shooting a cow on the Colockum is about as easy as it gets.

Heard there was a buttload down at the Elkhorn ranch from others on our way out last year. Drew this tag for the 3rd time in four years using group  points with  those who had a bunch of 'em.

Our camp filled 4 out of 5 tags last year. It can be easy or it can be frustrating depending on how people are pushing the animal's around. we've got 4 tag's again this year and really looking forward to packing some elk again. I got one of them :chuckle:
