Pizza oven 2015 progress

Got a little off track with other projo's. This is the finished base.
Hey! I'm not a complete idiot I have parts missing. Though sometimes I wonder.

I've done a few of those over the years, using clay or brick. It's a great project to kill a weekend with some friends and they can be really fun to cook with. You can do a pizza a minute when you get them hot!

Very cool and thanks for the pictures GBOYD!!  SO the sand I see that is your "mold" for your internal shape of the oven and then you form the brick or clay over it?  Looks like wine bottles in the base, I ave hear of that before. 
I like that way of doing it, not these $1k+ kits.  do it all by hand old school.. 

Got any links or sites you can point to do more details on materials/design for that?

Yeah, you make the shape you want with sand then cover with paper mache to make it tougher. This oven was made with dirt taken right out of the yard.

This is THE book. Follow it carefully and you'll be successful.
