Whats your WANT list still look like?
« on: June 22, 2015, 08:52:42 AM »
So I know this is such an open ended question but I was curious how many of you guys still have a GUN WANT LIST that is a mile long. My top 10 are (in no order);

1. Kimber Custom TLE 2
2. S&W Bodyguard
3. Sig Ultra 1911 2 Tone
4. S&W Shield
5. Chiappa Rhino 2in .357
6. FN FAL .308
7. TNW Aero Survival
8. Bond Arms Back up
9. Mossberg 500 Cruiser
10. Mossberg 930 SPX

I could keep going but I would wind up with a major wrist problem  :) and of course the list is always changing and growing. What you guys got?

I just want a hunting handgun, something with a scope and a long barrel.
I'd also like a better bow, although the one I have is working.

Mine is easy, I need to get "a" hunting rifle before I re-locate to ID in the next year or so.  I've only bow hunted while living in WA (off and on since 87) so do not own any rifles.  When I did travel back to NW MT to hunt during rifle season with family in years past, I'd just borrow from my father or brothers.  Once in ID where I can hunt archery early then rifle later, I'll need a boom stick.  Probably look at a 300 WIN MAG for my deer and elk hunting needs once on my way to the Gem State.  I'm set on pistolas.

A lightweight straight gripped 16ga w/wo hammers.

A Merkel 200/210

a 16ga x 16ga x 5.6x52R/6.5x52R drilling

All at prices I can afford.

EASY, at least one rifle in all caliber produced by each and every maker, I'll deal with the consequences later.

Honestly,  I think I've got my ideal battery already. I was looking for a good varmit gun, but I filled that category with a nice m77 in .22-250.

Ummmm Trouble is I like them all.

But today my list is.

Remington 700 LR in 7 rem mag. With a good scope.
A over under shotgun.
A beneli or Bereta waterfowl gun
Bond arms snake slayer.

How do you work on your list? I get a photo of what I want and pin it to the wall over my desk. Where I think of it all the time. Sooner or later I get it. Than I change the photo. I know nuts but it works for me.
