Gardner Whitetail buck help????
« on: June 25, 2015, 07:14:26 PM »
Hi.

I'm Dan and I'm new to this forum and I never help other hunters.    I hate it when people ask for help because they shouldn't ever put in for tags unless they are VERY familiar with where and how to hunt the unit......   Especially if it's one of my units!!

Sorry, I couldn't help myself................................... :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Yes,, I have been here for many years, with a post total approaching 5,000.
And yes, I have tried to help people along the way and I have been helped along the way and met some awesome forum members.

I did draw a Gardner whitetail buck tag, and I am looking for whatever help others might be willing to offer.

I have poked around there just a bit.    But I don't know the area that well, and I am certainly interested in garnering any helpful info on the area before I head out scouting.
I am not proud and will gladly accept general or specific info on the area.

Feel free to PM me if the info is helpful.

I am a grateful guy and I have a long memory.

Thanks all.

good shooting!

Dan

My dad had the late gardner quality tag last year. We saw a few whitetail bucks on public land but they are scarce. Let me know if you come over scouting and i can point you towards a few spots.

There is quite a bit of public ground behind the private up Twisp River.

I'll be over there in a couple days, looking around.

I'm not picky.

First whitetail over 180" gets it!
