I think this rule needs to change.
I just think it would make things a whole lot simpler if a it was limited on antler points on the opposite side of the spike. I don't think killing a 1x6 is really the age class of bulls the game department has in mind for a spike area.

Seems like the number of 1x5, 1x6 or 1x7's killed each year is so minimal that we would be wasting time trying to split hairs.
